Position Summary

Responsible for developing service business in relation with vendor by being their business consultant for packages and venue management, as well as making efficient and productive processes to fulfill current and future business needs

Area of Responsibility

Business Model: Wedding Package

  • Creating the most attractive wedding packages (Bridestory Deals), managing it, including the ones in Bridestory Store and Tokopedia Wedding Category
  • End-to-end management for the campaign
  • Negotiating for the best commission for every wedding vendors that are part of the wedding packages
  • Providing guidance and assistance on sales of the wedding package
  • Actively exploring the best way to market the wedding package
  • Building & actively exploring the most suitable SOP on wedding package from acquisition, bundling the best package, up to selling the package


      Business Model: Venue Management

  • Exploring and assisting in deciding which venue is best to manage
  • Building & actively exploring the most suitable SOP on venue management operation
  • Providing assistance and feedback on the business model of venue management (e.g. either revenue sharing or bulk-buying dates)



  • Oversee the acquisition and sales team in creating the most attractive wedding packages
  • Providing feedback & coaching to the team
  • Leading the division by providing excellent example on how to draft and sell the wedding packages
  • Achieving overall revenue and/or growth target as a team

B    Service People Management

  • Working with People partner in hiring strategy, process, and decision making throughout all stages of recruitment: planning, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention
  • Work with People partner in retention, target setting, performance review, learning and development of the team under the supervision
  • Foster a culture of learning & innovation, excellence, continuous improvement and high-quality results by leading by example

       General Support

  • Actively providing support towards the whole team relating any new projects
  • Leading any expansion plan to have more presence in other cities and/or countries
  • Tracking the metrics of all the necessary items to develop service business better
  • Actively exploring new ideas for marketing and expansion

Position Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor degree (S1)Preferably in management/business/hospitality degree
  • Min. 2 years of relevant working experience
  • More than 1-year working experience in the hospitality industry, working experience in the wedding industry is a plus
  • Ability to speak and write in English is a must, ability to speak and write in Mandarin is a plus
  • Have the knowledge of wedding vendor category
  • Have an understanding about the wedding planning process
  • Have the knowledge to navigate Google Sheet, Word, Keynote/PPT
  • Experience in a start-up or similar environment
  • Willing to work outside working hours (as open house tends to happen on Saturday & Sunday)
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver regular updates and feedback clearly and tactfully
  • Ability to influence and negotiate diplomatically and fairly with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to grow professionally by actively learning and staying up-to-date in areas of expertise
  • Ability to do data-crunching and number-crunching
