As a Senior Wedding Consultant, you will be surrounded by brides-to-be from many different cities and countries. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the wedding couples get the best for their dream wedding with as minimum hassle as it could be through a consultative process.

Wedding Consultant will assist brides-to-be in 1) selecting the most suitable vendor, 2) checking the availability of the vendors together with the deals, and 3) closing the deals. Their compensation and career growth are determined by their quality of work and proven performance.

Area of responsibility:

Quality Assurance

  • Performing the best service during the planning process to ensure the couples experience as minimum as possible hassle for their wedding

  • Performing the best service on the day of the wedding to ensure the wedding runs smooth

Revenue and Growth Target

  • Achieving overall revenue and/or growth target as a team from service fee
  • Achieving overall revenue and/or growth target as a team from commission

General Support

  • Actively providing support and feedback towards the whole team relating any new projects (e.g. celebrity weddings, new business model, etc.)
  • Actively exploring new ideas for marketing and business improvement and structure
  • Providing extra support towards occasional event, e.g. wedding fair, open house
  • Providing guidance towards Junior Wedding Consultant



Min. Bachelor degree (S1), 

Preferably in management / business / hospitality degree


  • Min. 2 years of experience 
  • More than 1-year experience in the hospitality industry is a plus

Knowledge and skills 

  • Basic wedding vendor category
  • Understanding wedding planning process
  • Having basic knowledge to navigate Google Sheet, Word, Keynote/PPT 

Other specific requirements 

  • Experience in start-up or similar environment
  • Willing to work outside working hours (as weddings tend to happen on Saturday & Sunday)
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver regular updates and feedback clearly and tactfully
  • Ability to influence and negotiate diplomatically and fairly with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to grow professionally by actively learning and staying up-to-date in areas of expertise
